The fifth and final day of my mini-tour with the Fossil Creek Band began bright and early on Sunday morning with a gospel show at the WBRF radio station in Galax, Virginia. After a short warm-up, we played the hour-long set: a combination of playing tunes and interviews for each of us, interspersed between the planned commercial breaks. Dave Lammey, our radio host, was a great guy and all of us had fun. People called in to the station during the show to say how much they were enjoying it! After a quick promo for us and our upcoming CD, we signed off, and said our goodbyes to Dave and the rest of the station crew who were there - with the promise that we'd come back and play there again. We'll be happy to! After we went back to our hotel and packed up the van, we were homeward bound. It was a great time out on the road, and we hope to see you all again sometime soon!
