The first adventure of Thursday came in the form of a boat ride on Moses Creek, between the mainland of Florida and the island where St. Augustine sits, from Jan's brother Bob. We didn't see any alligators, but we did spot some cormorants and a few dolphins! After Dave, Jan, and I got back from our boat ride, we decided to hit the beach for just a little while before we played our last show in St. Augustine. Another warm and sunny day - perfect for sinking your toes in the sand! After we cleaned up from being on the beach, it was off to Cafe Eleven around the corner from our condo in St. Augustine! Both Jan and I had some of our relatives from the area come, and the crowd was fantastic, whooping and hollering - well, it's bluegrass, why expect less?? We loved them, and they loved us! (Oh, and the food is really good there at the Cafe, too - take my word on it!)
